Junior Driver Development

Ansa Motorsports Junior Driver Development will award at the end of the 2016 Spring Championship in conjunction with Homestead Karting, a 1 day single event that is the Transition and Introduction from karts to racecars to one selected junior driver. This includes a seat fitting at the ANSA Motorsports facility, explanation of controls, car dynamics, track etiquette and expectations. This is followed by a supervised lapping day consisting of several hours of lapping, data and video analysis, along with understanding basic car balance and aerodynamics.

Rules and Eligibility: Current Junior Kart racer between the ages of 13-19 years old, participating in the Homestead Karting Spring Championship. Driver must register on our website to be eligible. Not open to the public.

Selection Criteria: At the final event of the Spring Series, the winner of this prize will be named. The driver selection will be based on merit, maturity, speed, performance and determination.

Panel of Judges: Determination made by experienced auto racing panel and Homestead Karting.

Prize Award: Single day introduction to race cars presented by ANSA Motorsports Junior Driver Development has no cash value and is not transferable. If driver is unable to participate for whatever reason, Panel of Judges and Homestead Karting may select another winner at its discretion. Date of the event to be determined by ANSA Motorsports and scheduled at Homestead Speedway.

Driver must supply his own Hans compatible helmet. Other driver safety gear will be made available by ANSA Motorsports.
